Party season is the perfect time to experiment with beauty looks, and after Black Friday (thank you shopping Gods!) I managed to grab myself a whole munch of new cosmetics and I can’t wait to try them out.
With Christmas parties are coming up, I’ve been pinning my favourite beauty ideas and I thought I would share them with you too.
Pink Eye
Bubblegum shades are everywhere right now and they don’t seem to be disappearing anytime soon. Drawing on 90s trends, the autumn has seen the rise of blush shades on the eyes and I can’t wait to try out the look. From metallic feels to pastel eyeliner, super girly is so in right now.
Alternative Eyeliner
The feline flick may be a classic, but I’m always looking for alternatives to eyeliner. I love these flame and cloud-like designs from backstage beauty snaps- I’m definitely going to be trying these out!
High Shine Gloss
Ditch your preconceptions of gloss being banished to the 00s; the look is back and it’s extended from the lips to the eyes and even the face. Adding a dewy glow to a barely-there face, I’m in love with it’s high shine quality.
Metallica
High shine metallics are a given for the festive season, but this year sees an other-worldly charm. Whether it’s filigree elements or Ziggy Stardust-esque eye details, metallics are a whole lot more than just silver and gold.
Glitter Roots
Sometimes maintaining those roots can be an expensive job (especially when you’re saving your monies for those Christmas presents!) so the magical alternative of glitter roots makes the situation a whole lot more ethereal. Pile it on with your space buns, or scrape back your hair for a statement look.
