I don’t think I say this enough, but omg I literally never style my hair and it honestly gets me down. Years of dying have left it a little limp and lifeless, so applying more heat to it regularly is a no-go.
But why can’t a treat yo’self moment apply to hair too? I love wearing wigs but now that my hair is a little stronger thanks to my hairdresser (you can read about my experience HERE) I’m getting back into styling it.
After receiving a Premium Styling Dock in the post, I couldn’t wait to have a wee place to keep my curlers and my hairdryer, and thought I would show you how to create a quick spiral curl look for short/medium length hair.
First thing I do, is douse my hair in some heat protector, this will provide a little bit of a barrier- my hairdresser uses Davine’s hair shield, it’s UH-MAZING.
Now it’s time to divide the hair and get curling! Check out my one min video below to see how I achieve the look:
Fantastic blog post keep up the fantastic work

Awe thank you so much lovely! So kind of you to say x
Ha Ha – I devote a lot of money to getting rid of my curls (they keep coming back though) but I love the spiral curls ( I used to have a much more old fashion heat free time consuming methods to get them:)), I love this look on you – and a side note, the shade of lipstick you are wearing in these pictures is AMAZING

No curls are amazing gurl! But I guess it’s just preference right? 🙂 I usually use heat-free as I don’t want to damage my hair, but I do like to treat myself every now and then hehe!
I’ve always wanted to curl my hair like this! Thanks for the tutorial, Maria. I’ll watch the video too xx
