How I Achieved Peach Hair With Schwarzkopf’s Apricot Sunrise

Y’all, I have the best news. I’ve found THE perfect semi-perm dye for peachy pink locks and I’m SO excited to share it with you. I just can’t deal!

Let’s rewind a little bit so I can tell you a lil bit about my hair. Since bleaching it back in October, I’ve tried a plethora of semi-perm dyes before settling on my faves Bleach London. I videoed how I achieved the colour but it was a long and repetitive process to get it to the desired rose gold shade.

Here’s a picture for comparison: Bleach London on the left, Schwarzkopf on the right.

Move over Bleach because Schwarzkopf have basically achieved the holy grail of hair dyes: their Live Colour pastel sprays are the one. Last week I was invited by the lovely Siobhan to go to their event at The Refinery near The Tate Modern, where we had our hair done in the Powder van for the #mebyme campaign.

As you can see from the pics above, Schwarzkopf’s variation shows a more vibrant hue- I’m in love!

My hair being faded grey, I decided to opt for their Apricot Sunrise shade and I have to admit, I’ve fallen in love. I think I was born to be ginge! The colour is radiant and I was definitely repping those Bowie vibes!

– Spray the colour onto clean, towel-dried or dry hair
– Blot any excess of the product with a paper towel
– Comb your hair to ensure an even distribution
– Leave in and blow dry for a smooth finish!

TOP TIP: If you’re looking to cover your whole head like me, try unscrewing the top and pouring onto dry hair in the bath before combing through. This will contain the mess and make it easier to distribute the colour!

Thank you so much to Chalk Beauty for the wonderful day, and I can’t wait to work more with you guys!
* Although I received the hair colour free of charge, this is NOT a sponsored post, just my opinion on a banging hair colour!

How did you make it look so vivid? I’ve seen some other reviews and it seems lighter. Did you spray it onto dry hair? Also, how long did it last you? It says it last 3 washes but looks like it would last longer at the intensity you have it. Xx

So my hair was sprayed wet when I had it done, and then the whole bottle was emptied onto my hair before it was blow dried- it was definitely vivid, but washed out completely after maybe two /three washes, not very long! It’s a good option if you just want something temporary!
