Cruelty Free Beauty Gift Guide

Since I made the cruelty-free leap over a year ago, I’ve found some truly amazing beauty brands. As a beauty blogger myself (or I try to be!) I can often find myself feeling a little lost in the sea of cosmetics, so recommendations from other like-minded beauty fiends mean a lot to me. With that in mind, I thought I would share with my beautiful readers a few products I would totally ship for gift-giving this season. I’ve tried, I’ve tested, and I know they’re cruelty-free. Did I also mention the packaging is beautiful, so they’re all a surefire winner in terms of gifts?

Without further ado, here are my gift guide picks:

Fat Face’s Gift Sets
I’m mad about Fat Face’s bath and beauty products at the moment, and I’ve included a couple in here as their cute packaging make them perfect for a gift. Their beautiful bath fizzers come in a pack of three, complete wrapped in floral packaging to represent a Christmas cracker! Flavoured in lavendar, rose and passion fruit, they’re the ideal touch of luxury to your bath.

I can also recommend their Ocean Palm sets. There’s something super fresh about the hand wash and body lotion, the scent is fantastic. I got both of these for my mum as I knew they would look amazing in her bathroom! It’s all about the aesthetic guys…

Sukin’s Skincare

If there’s one person who is crap at looking after their skin, it’s me. The process of me putting on and taking off make up multiple times a day was really taking its toll on my skin, so I really wanted to find some products I could recommend in this gift guide – Sukin to the rescue! I’ve always been attracted to Sukin’s natural ingredients, but never really branched out from their face masks- until I tried their oil balancing set. This 3-step routine is my go-to now, and perfectly boxed together for a gift-wrapped skin saviour. This Love Your Skin set (which you can get here) includes a charcoal cleanser, facial tonic and moisturiser, all with the aim of controlling the oils in your skin.

Kiss Products Lashes
If there’s something I always need but never get around to asking for,it’s false lashes. I feel like they really add drama to a look, make the look, even. Kiss lashes are my go-to at the moment, they’re easy to apply, so comfortable to wear, and simple to clean before wearing all over again.

imPRESS False Nails
I’ll be the first to admit, although I love having long-looking nails, I HATE APPLYING THEM! The act of trying to be so delicate with everything you do, for fear your false nails will break off, is dire. I’ve largely given up on them, but I like to give my fingers a rest from the gel nails from time to time and this is where imPRESS nails come in. They aren’t too long, they’re super easy to apply and some of the designs are amazing! I’ve always been so impress(ed) *sorry* with how well they’ve stayed on my nails, and with the option to either stick on, or use glue, it’s perfect for a night-only application, or a longer fix. These cream and black ranges just show the diversity of their nails – they’ll definitely win over your loved one.

Lime Crime’s Velvetines
I’ve been a long-standing fan of Lime Crime for years, and although I usually shop directly from their website over in the US, the brand has been more accessible to UK customers since becoming available on sites like Cult Beauty. Their liquid lipsticks, known as Velvetines, are by far my favourite products and Black Friday saw me purchase 10 (I know, I’m too much). I can’t get enough, and can’t recommend them enough for lipstick lovers who want something that will last them all day (and beyond!).

Kat Von D’s Shade & Light Cream Contour Palette
This contour palette is TO DIE FOR. Perfect for adding shade and dimension to the face, KVD’s range of vegan makeup products are a treat for the eyes, and the skin. The packaging is lush, the product is unbelievable – you’re onto a winner whichever product from her range you choose, but I do love this one in particular. The formula melts into the skin and accommodates all skin types and complexions. Get it, you won’t regret it.

Stila’s Sheer Delight Liquid Lipstick
If you’re looking for a set with the stocking filler status, Stila has the ideal little gift bundle. Three liquid lipsticks in stunning red and nude variations make way for some grand gold packaging. Their handbag-handy size gave them the biggest appeal for me, and they’re brilliant for the frequent traveller too- damn that 100ml limit, but YAS to Stila!
