It happens doesn’t it? All of a sudden, a Halloween party crops up and unfortunately you don’t have you’re look planned.
If I’m honest, this month I’ve planned SO many looks and only decided what to dress as for my party yesterday, hehe. For those of you a little stuck on what to go as, I’ve created three looks using a few bits from Hobby Craft, all of which can be created in under 10 minutes, yay!
Candy Skull- Day of the Dead Make Up
Candy skull designs are amazing, but elaborate and take A LOT of time to put together. Hobby Craft’s glitter stickers are amazing, and I applied them to my face within two minutes! My top tip is if there are any stickers peeling, use eyelash glue to secure them- works for me every time!
This garland hairband is also super cute, complete with little skulls inside the buds.
Karen from Mean Girls
Her boobs can tell when it’s raining, and she’s the ditsiest teen around- I LOVE Karen in Mean girls, so why not combine her two best moments- her diamante prom look and her mouse ear Halloween look- into one for a super simple and super quick costume?!
“I’m a mouse… duh!”
I kept things current with a statement wing and brows, but then added some 00s touches with glossy lips and a diamante sticker.
A Robot/ Cyborg
My third and last look is including some classic Halloween materials- liquid latex and gel blood, yay! This was my first time using liquid latex, and omg I can’t wait to use it again!
I wanted to create a subtle Terminator-style eye, so I did my normal make up before using a brush to create an oval around my eye with liquid latex. I then went in with liquid liner and filled in a crevice around my lid, and added some screws and other cyborg details. I filled in the gaps with Lime Crime’s Mermaid’s Grotto for a metallic touch.
Once the latex was all dry, I patted it with my normal foundation to make it skin-coloured, before adding the gel blood and voila! Your robot look is complete.
Which is your favourite?
*The products in this post were mostly supplied by Hobby Craft, but despite this, all opinions are of course my own!
Girl you are the QUEEN of Halloween, those skull stickers are so fab for a quick and easy look and the Karen get up made me giggle, especially the big K, I really need to watch Mean Girls again soon!
